Assistant Quality Manager

Assistant Quality Manager Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Salary: $115,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Responsibilities Support the Quality Manager in overseeing Quality Assurance and Inspection operations Supervise QA and Inspection personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews Assist with the implementation and maintenance of SPC/SQC programs Investigate customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions Monitor quality data, analyze trends, and prepare reports Support ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits, and certification audits Serve as a liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory organizations as needed Manage document control processes, including revisions, distribution, and record maintenance Coordinate customer compliance requests and quality documentation Support new product qualification and integration into manufacturing processes Maintain UL documentation and coordinate testing and audit activities Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other quality-related projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience 2-3 years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience required Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) methods Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related software systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in laminate, coating, fabricating, or specialty materials manufacturing preferred Knowledge of dispersion chemistry is a plus Benefits Right in the mix: work side by side with a team that appreciates what you do.
