Position Details Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Technician Location: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour Employment Type: Direct Hire Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift/Day Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM/7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues Support production operations by minimizing equipment downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrical Technician, Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Technician, or related role Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance practices Consistent work history and good tenure with previous employers Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Candidates without forklift experience must be willing to learn Strong problem-solveing abilities and attention to detail Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Hiring Requirements Relevant maintenance/electrical experience required Stable employment history with good tenure Interview required Clean BG check required Drug screening required Ability to work 12-hour night shifts Why Join Us? Work Environment The role is based in a very clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility that operates large printing presses used to print on foil and packaging for pharmaceutical products. The standard schedule is a four-day workweek with 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.), Monday through Thursday, with a potential but unlikely need for a fifth day. Employees work both with a team and independently in a production environment that includes lamination processes and the use of adhesives, requiring comfort with a consistent adhesive smell throughout the facility. The environment emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to operational procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Shelbyville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
