About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Estimator for its Ground Up Construction division. The successful candidate will be a key player in the planning and development of construction projects, from inception to completion. This role demands a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in ground-up construction, a proven track record in project estimation, and excellent team leadership skills. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing comprehensive project estimates and budgets, analyzing construction plans and specifications, coordinating with various stakeholders, and staying abreast of industry trends and market conditions. The Chief Estimator will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of estimators, ensuring the use of up-to-date estimation software, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process. Candidates for the Chief Estimator position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction estimation, particularly in ground-up construction, and a history of successful project bidding. A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations is essential, as are exceptional analytical, mathematical, and communication skills. Proficiency in estimation software and a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
