Why Work Here?

You will join a professional aviation maintenance environment that values technical excellence, safety, and craftsmanship in aircraft structural repair. You will work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and support staff who foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect. The schedule provides a consistent first-shift work pattern with opportunities for overtime, supporting both stable income potential and work-life balance. This environment rewards initiative, independent work, and a strong commitment to quality, giving you room to grow your expertise and advance your career in aircraft maintenance and structures.

This position operates in an active aircraft hangar environment on a first-shift schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some overtime as needed to meet maintenance demands. The hangar does not have air conditioning, so temperatures may vary with the seasons, and candidates should be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled setting. Work is hands-on and physically demanding, often requiring standing, kneeling, lying in awkward positions, and working in tight spaces inside and around aircraft structures. Tasks may be performed on scaffolding or ladders at various heights. Standard mechanic and sheet metal tools are used daily, along with typical aircraft maintenance equipment found in a heavy MRO and modification environment. The role involves frequent lifting and pulling of parts and equipment up to 70 pounds, as well as close visual inspection and listening for operational cues from aircraft systems.
