A well-established, closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team in Auburn, KS. This pharmacy specializes in shipping medications to nursing homes, processing between 800-1000 prescriptions daily with a large and supportive team of over 50 employees. The pharmacy requires an additional Staff Pharmacist to cover shifts on Thursdays and Fridays.
Schedule & Hours:
- Thursdays & Fridays
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) activities to maintain high medication safety standards
- Perform cycle checking to ensure accuracy in medication orders
- Verify prescriptions and medication orders thoroughly
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Kansas Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but recent graduates and retail experience will be considered
- Availability to start immediately
