Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab RN

• Sedate patients, circulate, and prep as necessary
• Place IVs if needed and ensure all patient care needs are met
• Use EPIC for documenting pre and post procedures
• Coordinate with RAD techs and assist the physician during procedures

Requirements of the Cath Lab RN

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• A minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience
• Familiarity with EPIC, CUPID, Volcano, and Impella equipment
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
