General Surgery Opportunity Near Tampa, Florida! Setting Hospital-employed. Join two surgeons. Call Schedule Practice call taken with two other employed surgeons (1:3). ER call: 10 days per month, remaining covered by locums. Office Space Medical Arts Building (MAB) on hospital campus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary plus incentive bonus based on WRVUs. Commencement bonus, malpractice insurance, relocation expenses, possible medical education debt assistance. Staffing Anesthesiologists: 5 FTEs. CRNAs: 7 FTE. 24‑hour anesthesia coverage. Operating Rooms & Facilities 4 ORs at the hospital and 4 additional ORs at a nearby hospital. Incoming physician will be on staff at both facilities. The hospital has two surgery centers and an outpatient clinic. Hospital Volume The hospital handles roughly 5,000 admissions, 10,800 surgeries (including ASCs) and 23,000 ER visits annually. General Surgery is a major service line for the facility, representing 18‑20% of the market share versus a main competitor with 42% share in the combined service area.
