About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10 hours (Sunday 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday to Wednesday 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: 2+ Years of X-ray Experience License: Michigan license verification required Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with X-ray, Travel Description: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision. Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence for patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met. Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment, including but not limited to X-ray. Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.
