We are immediately hiring an OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST to support our Mansfield, Texas manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position with some flexible work initiatives, the working hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Operations Support Specialist provides day-to-day support across several plant functions, helping keep operations running smoothly. This role works across purchasing, inventory, reporting, and administrative tasks, while also supporting some employee/HR related processes. It requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to collaborate with different teams. Key Responsibilities Support purchasing activities for raw materials, plant supplies, MRO items, and plant services. Work with internal teams (Operations, Finance, HR, and others) to help coordinate day-to-day needs and resolve issues. Follow internal policies and approval processes to ensure tasks are handled accurately and consistently. Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and basic issue resolution. Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting corrective actions. Complete daily production and inventory reporting in SAP, including material movements from raw materials to finished goods. Identify and help troubleshoot data or inventory discrepancies. Provide general HR (Human Resources) administrative support for the plant with collaboration from the Corporate HR team, including: PTO (paid time off) and attendance tracking Payroll support Pre-employment testing scheduling Experience and Skills Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related administrative fields. Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Workday). Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Analytical mindset with comfort working with data and reports. Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract basics, and supplier management. Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume operational environment. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Good financial acumen, influencing and decision-making skills.
