Lead Line Cook

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Line Cook who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves being in the kitchen, can lead and train others, and wants to grow with a strong team.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable taking the lead on the line, and able to maintain quality and consistency in a busy kitchen. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and creativity while learning more of the management side of the business.

There is significant room for advancement for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Lead the line during service and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

• Cook, prep, and execute menu items consistently according to established recipes.

• Train and support new and existing kitchen team members.

• Help maintain strong food quality, presentation, and portion standards.

• Receive and check deliveries for quality, accuracy, and proper storage.

• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and organization.

• Follow recipes while contributing ideas for specials and menu improvements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked kitchen.

• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.

• Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Step in where needed and help create a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Who We're Looking For

• Strong line cooking and food preparation experience.

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate others.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Knowledge of proper receiving, storage, and inventory procedures.

• Good understanding of recipes, portioning, and consistency.

• Organized, dependable, and hands-on.

• Some creativity and interest in contributing new ideas.

• Someone who wants to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility.
