PURPOSE Investigator – District 20, Main Office – Ardmore, Oklahoma JOB INFORMATION Title: DA Investigator Location: District 20 – Main office located in Ardmore, Oklahoma Type: Full‑time, Immediate opening, Open until filled Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications Benefits: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including health coverage allowance, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly, paid holidays RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and review District Attorney case files, obtaining certified copies of documents such as court records, agency reports, jail records, criminal histories, photographs, fingerprint cards, vehicle registration, driver's license, audio or video tapes Serve as liaison with various law enforcement agencies, requesting additional information and obtaining Agency Offense Reports Interview and take statements from victims and witnesses, locating them as needed and contacting appropriate parties Assist prosecutors in jury selection by reviewing jury panel information sheets, conducting background research, and making recommendations Assist in trial support, including obtaining witness background information, transporting witnesses to and from court, and maintaining readiness for testimony Support other investigators and law enforcement agencies, reviewing cases, investigating crime scenes, performing surveillance, and serving warrants Handle pre‑trial hearings tasks: issuing and serving subpoenas, transporting witnesses and prisoners, delivering subpoenaed records, and tracking service status Conduct special investigations as required and collaborate with law enforcement agencies within and outside Oklahoma QUALIFICATIONS CLEET full‑time certification with a minimum of three years full‑time law enforcement experience; preference for narcotics/investigative background Must reside within District 20 boundaries or be able to relocate promptly Must be able to pass comprehensive background investigation and drug screening U.S. citizenship required; high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred) Veteran’s preference applicable No felony convictions, major misdemeanors, or domestic violence convictions Computer proficiency essential APPLICANTS Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and references to: Cassie Hightower, 107 1st Ave. SW, Ardmore, OK 73401 or View email address on click.appcast.io.
