Travel Physical Therapist - $2,101 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Arlington, Massachusetts. The position is fully travel based, with a start date of 08/31/2026, 40 hours per week, eight‑hour day shifts, and a competitive travel pay package. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists and other health‑care professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development. Support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Qualifications Required: Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Proficiency in PC skills and following verbal and written instructions. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull and bend. Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel and maintain a positive professional attitude. Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and equipment use. Mental resilience to work under pressure, occasional supervision, and irregular activity schedules. Sensory acuity and effective visual communication. Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred). New graduates accepted; experience preferred. Other certifications or licenses as required for this position.
