To ensure the plant is maintained safely during all modes of operation such that the expectations of regulators, management and customers are met. Build, train, and maintain a team of nuclear maintenance professionals able to meet these demands within guidelines and regulations that apply to the maintenance of a nuclear generation facility. Ensure personal safety is maintained through vigilant observation of all applicable safety procedures and guidelines.**Required Qualifications:*** High School/Ged* 4 years related work experience## **Additional Preferred Qualifications*** Demonstrated acceptable performance using computer applications, e.g., WMS, Word, Lotus Notes, EQSS, Nuclear University* Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills* Demonstrated ability to support corporate and station policies* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple and complex tasks* Demonstrated ability to effectively handle conflict and motivate subordinates/team members* Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork* Demonstrates professionalism and courtesy to both internal and external customers* Demonstrated promoter of personnel safety## **Working Conditions*** Potential radiation from units.* Extreme heat from equipment (160Œ); cold (15Œ).* Cramped and confined spaces result in a need for respirators, or other physical problems.* Lifting of heavy equipment.* High pressures from steam and water* On call 24 hours a day.****Travel Requirements****5-15%### Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable)Yes### Represented/Union PositionNo### Visa Sponsored PositionNo### Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must possess all of the basic/required qualifications.
