Job Description:

The registered nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit involves delivering specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and assessment. The role requires proficiency with unit equipment and adherence to unit-specific policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform neuro and spinal checks
• Administer C-Collar placement and TLSO braces
• Manage chest tubes and PCA pumps
• Conduct IV infusions and lumbar drains
• Handle feeding tube placement and blood transfusions

Requirements:

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS for Neuro and Trauma Care experience
