A well-established primary care practice in New Jersey is seeking a locum physician to provide outpatient coverage for adult and geriatric patients. This opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with physician support, onsite laboratory services, and a predictable weekday schedule.

• Duration: Ongoing

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesdays: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Primary Care Office
• Adult and Geriatric Patient Population
• EMR: Athena
• Onsite Laboratory Services
• 13 Exam Rooms

Clinical Responsibilities

• Adult Outpatient Primary Care
• Preventive Care and Chronic Disease Management
• Evaluation and Treatment of Acute Medical Conditions
• EKG Interpretation
• Evaluation and Management of Blood Pressure and Volume-Related Conditions
• Employment Physicals
• Disability Examinations

Patient Volume

• Approximately 3 Patients Per Hour

Support Staff

• 5 Physicians
• 1 Advanced Practice Provider
• Collaborative Physician Support Available

Additional Details

• No Supervision of Other Healthcare Providers Required
• No Inpatient Responsibilities
• No Call Coverage
• No Response to In-House Codes
• No Emergency Department Backup Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

• Active New Jersey Medical License
• Current NPDB Self-Query Dated Within 30 Days of Presentation
• Local Provider (Mileage Reimbursement Only)
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Primary Care - Required

Preferred

• Board Certified (Will Consider Truly Board Eligible Candidates)
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Credentialing

• Expedited Credentialing Available
