Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Bismarck, North Dakota office. This role involves handling a variety of litigation matters and contributing to case strategy and client representation. Duties Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and develop case strategies Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations Participate in depositions and discovery processes Collaborate with team members on litigation matters Requirements 1 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred Strong academic background Strong writing and oral advocacy skills Interest in strategic problem solving Clerkship experience is a plus but not required Good standing within the legal community Licensed in North Dakota or willingness to obtain licensure Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications Active bar membership in North Dakota or eligibility for admission Skills Excellent legal writing and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple cases and work collaboratively Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contributions Parental leave #J-18808-Ljbffr
