Social Emotional Coach

As a Social Emotional Coach at The Pinnacle School, you will provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to students, helping them build self-regulation, social skills, and confidence. Youll work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally.

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in education, psychology, or a related field

• Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or learning differences

• Calm, caring, and patient demeanor grounded in professionalism and empathy

• Strong collaboration, active listening, and communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication tasks

• Availability to work 11 months (this is an 11 month position which includes the academic school year and a 4 week summer program in July)

• Be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

• Open to compensation range $25.00 an hour to $25.75 an hour

What Youll Do

• Provide one-on-one classroom support focused on academic engagement, emotional regulation, and social interaction

• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions

• Assist students with self-help and daily living skills to promote independence and confidence

• Implement de-escalation and calming strategies to maintain safety and support emotional stability

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, individualized student support
