Position Overview The Optometrist will initially work one day per week on a per diem basis , with the opportunity to expand to additional days as patient volume and the optical practice grow. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist looking for a flexible per diem schedule, supplemental income, or the opportunity to become involved in a new practice from its early stages. The practice will provide the exam room, ophthalmic equipment, optical staff support, scheduling, and patient-facing operations. Salary Range $600 – $750 per diem Schedule Per diem Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations Perform refractions and prescribe corrective lenses Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within scope of practice Perform routine glaucoma and ocular health assessments Conduct and/or supervise contact lens evaluations and fittings Educate patients regarding eye health and vision care Maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with optical and pharmacy staff to provide an excellent patient experience Make appropriate referrals to ophthalmologists and other specialists when necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr Eyes On Eyecare
