OR Surgical Technologist - 15K Incentive, Full Time

Job Title

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Job Details

Sign-On Bonus Eligible $15,000

40 hours per week

Monday through Friday

10 hour shifts, 4 days per week

6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Minimal On Call, 2-4 shifts per month

Experience and completion of accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.
• Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
• Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: No Experience
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience
• License & Certification: Non-Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: <2 years
• License & Certification: Surgical Technician
