Responsibilities: • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of residents to medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled activities. • Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, conducting regular checks to ensure safety and reliability. • Collaborate with caregivers and medical staff to coordinate transportation schedules and accommodate residents' needs. • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for residents during transit, fostering a sense of comfort and security. • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of residents and the community. • Assist residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring accessibility and support for all. • Communicate effectively with team members and families, providing updates on transportation schedules and any changes that may arise. Qualifications: • Experience in driving passenger vehicles, with a clean driving record. • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members. • Proven track record of punctuality and reliability in a professional setting. • Familiarity with Albuquerque's roadways and traffic patterns, ensuring efficient travel routes. • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. • Strong organizational skills to manage transportation schedules and coordinate with medical staff. • Commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all passengers during transit. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
