Registered Respiratory Therapist, Peds

Responsibilities Performs assessments on Pediatric and Neonatal units, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in those areas. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree from an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy (Required) Work Experience Previous working experience in neonatal or pediatric respiratory care, or successful completion of department‑specific orientation, including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level (Required) Licenses and Certifications RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (upon hire required) BCLS – Basic Life Support (upon hire required) ACLS (upon hire required) PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (upon hire required) NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation (upon hire required) Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (Preferred) Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies.
