About the Role:

The On-Call Mammography Technologist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely breast cancer screenings. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist from an accredited body.
• Current state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical setting performing mammography procedures.
• Additional certifications in breast imaging or related fields.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and understanding of the procedure.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnosis.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record system.
