About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year Description: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular and IR program. This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on patient safety, technical excellence, and teamwork. Cath Lab Procedures Include: - Left and right heart catheterizations - Pacemaker insertions - Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) - Impella device placement and support Interventional Radiology Procedures Include: - GI bleed embolizations - Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies - Kyphoplasties - Drain placements - Port placements - Additional IR procedures as required Responsibilities: - Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and IR procedures. - Prepare and maintain sterile fields. - Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices. - Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting. - Respond to emergent cases while on call. - Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards. - Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
