JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for Yard Associates in Huntsville, AL . This is an entry level role responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely handling merchandise, loading and unloading trucks, and waiting on customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of a YARD ASSOCIATES includes , but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and waiting on customers.
• Accurately building loads and assisting customers with locating indicated products and loading.
• Loading materials into customers' vehicles or onto company delivery vehicles, after validating type and quantity based on the loading documents while taking care not to damage the goods, equipment, or vehicles.
• Developing thorough expertise related to operation of forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment utilized for product movement.
• Unloading incoming freight, taking care not to damage the incoming goods or the equipment.
• Maintaining yard and warehouse maintenance in a clean and orderly condition.

Job Requirements of a YARD ASSOCIATES:

• Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking and standing are required for this position. Weights range from 25 lbs. to 200 lbs. plus.
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 Year of relevant experience
