About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, IMCU – Georgia
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week, 16-10 bed unit, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) specializing in medically complex patients
- Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
- Experience with critical drips including heparin protocols
- Collaborative team environment with structured nurse-to-patient ratios
- Immediate start opportunity with contract assignment
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of IMCU or ICU experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Demonstrated competency managing medically complex patient populations and critical drips
