Respiratory Therapist (Allied)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM with Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients in an acute care setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer respiratory therapies including mechanical ventilation and aerosolized medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the specialty
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in respiratory care and diagnostic services within a hospital environment
• Familiarity with a high-volume acute care setting
