About the Position

• Description: Provide independent inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, evaluating and managing acute and chronic cardiac conditions while working closely with cardiologists.

• Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular patients.

  • Provide inpatient cardiology care for approximately 10–15 patients daily.

  • Conduct physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

  • Interpret EKGs proficiently and prescribe appropriate medications.

  • Perform and interpret cardiac stress tests; training available if needed.

  • Coordinate referrals and ongoing cardiac management.

  • Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

    • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in credentialing and insurance enrollment.

Requirements

• Qualifications:

  • Current New Jersey Physician Assistant license.

  • Active NJ DEA, CDS, and applicable certifications.

  • Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as a PA.

  • Prior critical care experience required.

  • Experience independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients.
