Position Title: Forklift OperatorWage: $20.35/hourShift: 12-Hour Days or NightsHours: 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am (2-2-3 Schedule)Are your skills not being fully utilized? Apply now!Forklift Operator Responsibilities:- Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound- Meet department goals for efficiency- Participate in continuous improvement efforts- Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received and shipped to quality standards- Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems- Complete shift documentation / paperwork- Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's- Participate in safety programs, following established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPERequirements for Forklift Operator:- At least 3 years of forklift experience- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds continuously (cases of product and hand tools)- Ability to lift 11-30 pounds regularly (3-4 times per shift)- Ability to lift 31-50 pounds occasionally (1-2 pounds per shift)- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time- Ability to work in warm environments- Mechanical aptitude- Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements- Basic math skills- Computer and software skillsIND035QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
