SMT Operator (Entry-Level - Electronics Manufacturing)

Pay: $25 - $30/hr per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (Day Shift)

Job Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level SMT Operator to support our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor equipment on an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production line , including inspection of electronic assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. No prior SMT experience is required -training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support SMT production line equipment
- Inspect SMT electronic assemblies using AOI equipment
- Identify and communicate defects to operators and supervisors
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) , board handling, and MSD procedures
- Verify workmanship and process compliance per work instructions
- Support ISO, quality standards, and 6S/Lean initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- No prior SMT or manufacturing experience required (paid training provided)
