CNC Mill Operator
Location: San Fernando Valley, CA
Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:15:00 AM–11:45 PM, with overtime as needed
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills to machine precision metal parts.
Test and run CNC part programs and monitor machine performance.
Read and interpret blueprints in both standard and metric measurements.
Convert between metric and standard measurements as required.
Use machinist tools and precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
Apply shop mathematics, machine shop practices, and knowledge of material machinability.
Follow established machining procedures and layout techniques.
Troubleshoot basic machining or production issues.
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
Support continuous improvement and quality objectives.
Follow all applicable safety and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of CNC machine operation experience required.
Strong experience setting up and operating CNC mills.
Ability to test and run CNC part programs.
Strong blueprint-reading skills.
Knowledge of shop mathematics and machine shop procedures.
Must possess machinist tools and measuring instruments.
Machine shop technology, machine tool technology, or machinist certification highly preferred.
Mechanical assembly experience is a plus.
