We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.The impact you’ll makeAs a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products.What you’ll doInvestigate and support resolution of manufacturing quality issues.Partner with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Monitor quality metrics and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Support Quality Management System (QMS) processes and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.Participate in process, product, and line audits.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve product quality and manufacturing performance.Maintain quality documentation, reports, and dashboards.Work closely with technicians, engineers, and operations teams in a manufacturing environment.Who we’re looking forBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.2+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process engineering.Experience supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred qualificationsExperience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.Experience working in a cleanroom environment.Familiarity with process, product, and line audits.Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.Experience with Power BI, Minitab, or similar data analysis tools.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Key SkillsRoot Cause Analysis (RCCA, 8D, 5 Whys)Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)Statistical Analysis and Data InterpretationQuality Systems and ComplianceProcess AuditingContinuous ImprovementProblem SolvingCross-Functional CollaborationQuality Reporting and MetricsLean Manufacturing / Six Sigma FundamentalsOur commitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
