Backed by a $260M+ SBIC fund and a portfolio that has historically turned $100M+ of invested capital into nearly $500M of total value , this group partners directly with owner-operators and management teams to scale high-quality small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. What You’ll Do Lead and support full-cycle deal execution — sourcing, outreach, financial review, diligence coordination, and closing. Originate and evaluate opportunities within the industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and business-services ecosystem. Conduct market and competitive research to identify high-quality SMB opportunities aligned with the investment thesis. Refine financial models, valuation cases, and investment materials. Prepare clear, concise memos and presentations for internal decision makers. Work directly with senior leadership in a lean, fast-paced environment with meaningful ownership of outcomes. What We’re Looking For 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or similar roles . Demonstrated experience managing full deal cycles — sourcing through diligence and close. Exposure to lower middle-market or SMB transactions ; comfort working with founder-led businesses. Strong analytical fundamentals paired with excellent communication and relationship-building skills . Experience or interest in industrial, asset-heavy, or operations-driven sectors .
