Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking to make a genuine impact in a supportive educational setting. This contract role starts August 12, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, serving students across both a middle and high school. The position is split between two campuses, offering a dynamic and varied working environment where you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team and engage with students at different developmental stages.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an SLPA
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Proficient in conversational sign language and able to assist students using these skills
• Comfortable working in both middle and high school environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with children and adolescents
• Organized, adaptable, and proactive approach to caseload management

Your Role:

• Implement speech and language therapy programs under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support students’ communication goals through both individual and group sessions
• Utilize sign language skills to facilitate learning and engagement
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist in report preparation
• Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and parents to nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule (35 hours/week) or part-time with a minimum commitment of three days per week
