The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients during critical situations, ensuring their safety and well-being. Shift Information The position is for the mid-shift from 12 PM to 12 AM, with no on-call duties required. Additionally, there are no floating or block scheduling requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. Perform diagnostic tests and administer medication as per protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Medhost EMR. Manage patient care efficiently, maintaining a ratio of 4:1 unless in fast track or triage scenarios. Qualifications Current RN license valid to work in Texas. Advanced certifications: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC (AHA or ARC). Demonstrated expertise in standard emergency nursing practices. Ultrasound IV skills are preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in emergency nursing. Additional Information The facility comprises 24 beds, plus an additional 4 hall beds. A maximum of three shifts of requested time off (RTO) is allowed, with specific blackout dates surrounding Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
