This individual must be able to work independently of direct supervision in the environment.Job DescriptionSafety:Be a champion of safetyEnsure all work is completed safelyOperations:Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, create deficiency repair listThink ahead and plan methods and sequence of performing assigned maintenanceResearch and order all parts and materials required to perform assigned maintenancePerform the repairs efficiently and effectivelyConfirm that all repairs are completed as assignedEnsure all unused parts and materials are returned per established methodsMaintain a safe and clean workspace and service truckPower wash and clean equipment and attachments as neededRecord Keeping and Compliance:Maintain legible records of notes, time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases as neededAll record-keeping methods are followed per established methods. The 3 C's (complaint, cause, and correction) are always used and documented with all repairsComply with all policies, procedures, and methods established by the companyMaintain and care for all shop and truck tools, equipment, and vehicles in your possessionCommunication:Provide the \"Cutting Edge of Customer Service\" to allAll communication with co-workers and customers are to be conducted in a professional and honest mannerConsistently advocate for Company Wrench and our equipment brand at all timesTraining:Training is to be completed as assignedTraining will be conducted virtually and in-person. Overnight travel may be requiredJob QualificationsEducation and Experience:Candidate needs two years of industry experienceRequired requisites:Class A or B CDL or the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDLStrong Mechanical skills and aptitudeStrong diagnostic abilities and mindsetGood communication skillsSafe work habitsAbility and experience to perform repairs for all major equipment systemsWorking knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functionsBe able to provide all of your tooling smaller than one-inch driveSpecific Skill Requisites:Ability to work with minimal supervisionProficient understanding of hydraulic pressure and flowProficient in ohms lawProficient in the use of a digital multimeterPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
