Job Description This is an In-office role in Scottsdale, Arizona Monday – Friday; 8 am - 5 pm with rotational Saturday duty from home A day in the life of an inside Property Adjuster, and what ittakesto do the job! As a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster, you willprovideexceptional service to our policyholders. Working from our Scottsdale office, your primary responsibility will involve virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will be interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate andClaimsXVideo Collaboration. This communication will take place through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. This role places a particular focus on water losses, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims. You’llwear a few hats that will require a level of experience: The Customer Service Expert –you’lllive into Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring, and you willaccomplishthat by being compassionate, clear, and a committed partner in each Property claim. You lead with empathy, always.\The Investigator –you’llconfidently and independently investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies todeterminecoverage. The Effective Communicator –you’lluse phone, emails and sometimes even video chat with customers to help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process.You’llalso incorporate a specific approach to claim handling to offer the customer their preference of communication to efficiently discuss their claim needs and keep them updated on the claim progress. The Negotiator – You will evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants,in accordance withall legal and business standard methodologies. With negotiations, you will incorporate tactics in handling challenging and complex situations. T he Problem Solver –you’llutilizemultiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, andadditionalsettlement platforms, all while using your sharp critical thinking skills. The Recorder –you’llprotect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements, and you keep a clear record of your work in a claims system that you will be trained on.You’llaccomplishthis by ensuringtimelyandaccuratedocumentation is completed as you work on each claim. Schedule: In-office Monday – Friday; 8 am - 5 pm with rotational Saturday duty (Saturday from home) Flexibility in workday schedule with a mandatory weekend shift. This role involves taking care of customers in their times of need. As a result, you must be willing to work some weekends and extended hours if necessary. PreferredQualifications: 1+ years ofpreviouscustomer service experiencerequired. Previousindustry experience is highly desired. Proficiencyin using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred. Ability to assess property damages and accuratelydetermineclaim coverage. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment. Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions. You’reprovided with comprehensive training: The training program is designed to help you build a claims foundation and understand the systems and processes in yourday-to-daywork. Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement happen regularly on the job.
