Night Warehouse Loader

Basic Purpose To load all outbound orders into designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards, ensuring drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day’s deliveries. Schedule Sunday – Thursday. 6:30 PM start time. Typically 8–12 hr. shifts. Occasional Friday work based on business needs. Summer peak season: May – September. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $23.69. Weekly pay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct trailer inspection before loading to ensure the trailer is clean, properly tempered, and ready for loading. Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport. Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading. Load the trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and secured, and confirm that the load diagram is completed and submitted. Follow all safety work practices and maintain a clean and orderly dock area. Relationships Internal: Selectors, Leads/Supervisors, and Drivers. External: None specified. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of one year of warehouse experience preferred. Pallet jack certification required. Good attention to detail. Ability to read load diagrams. Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Team‑oriented and able to get along with others. Work Environment Comfortable working in a multi‑temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from –5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
