Surgical Technologist - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift - 10 hours per day, 4 days a week.

The Surgical Technologist performs a variety of tasks in the operating room to assist the surgical team. Responsibilities include arranging sterile setups for surgical procedures, passing instruments and supplies, preparing patients for surgery, and ensuring a clean and safe operating environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile solutions.
• Assist in patient preparation including washing, shaving, and ensuring aseptic incision sites.
• Transport and position patients on the operating table.
• Efficiently pass instruments and sterile supplies to the surgical team during operations.
• Assist in the care, preparation, and disposal of specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Clean and restock the operating room after surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC) certification.
