What you’ll bring:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
• Adaptability in dynamic, evolving school environments
• Commitment to student-centered, strengths-based interventions

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student caseload across various school buildings
• Assess students’ functional abilities and provide recommendations for classroom adaptations or equipment
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students’ therapy needs
• Document progress, maintain therapy records, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Support students in improving academic access, fine motor skills, self-care, and overall participation in school activities
