Business AnalystSavvee Inc. is seeking an analytical Business Analyst to support our federal client onsite in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating IT portfolio performance, managing complex data collection and reporting efforts, and providing actionable insights that support executive decision-making and strategic investment management. This individual will excel at coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, developing briefings and recommendations for leadership, and supporting portfolio and financial management activities within a fast-paced federal CIO environment.Essential Functions:Providing analysis and support for the monthly IT investment review under the direction of the Senior Business Analyst.Preparing input to the quarterly Integrated Data Call (IDC) submission and other federal-wide data calls to OMB and leading the coordination, facilitation, implementation, and analysis of data calls with support from the Junior Business Analyst.Supporting execution of the CPIC process, including business case development, IT Dashboard, and IDC review, analysis, and submission to OMB, GAO, and the Inspector General; support execution of investment activities.Supporting the Financial/Functional Analyst in analysis of and responses to IT spend plans, IT interim procurement requests, IT procurement requests, and other intake submissions submitted to the portfolio and financial management office for review and approval.Supporting data analysis of the IT budget, IT spend plans, and IT acquisitions across the department and recommendations for shared services, federal mandates, and department-specific initiatives.Supporting the development, maintenance, tracking, and reporting of the IT budget, investments, and spend plans and the analysis of IT budgets, spend plans, and financial records.Conducting IT investment, program, and project reviews and briefings providing status, recommendations, risks, and expertise to the IT community.Supporting performance metrics, analysis, and reporting for the IT portfolio and conducting analysis to recommend internal business and performance metrics that support portfolio maturation.Conducting analysis of major IT investments, programs, and projects and provide briefings, white papers, and supporting documentation while recommending changes to address gaps and issues within the IT portfolio.Supporting implementation of audit recommendations and continuous improvement initiatives, IT risk strategies, and federal mandates (e.g., FITARA) and providing input to responses to OMB and GAO requests.Providing analysis and recommendations on implementation of IT governance policy, structure, and process.Conducting research, evaluations, and prioritization strategies to support IT business process improvements.Providing analysis of external and internal IT guidance as needed.Supporting meeting management, including facilitation, pre- and post-meeting activities, and management of meeting documentation and providing inputs to status updates and briefings for IT leadership.Providing reporting in multiple forms (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, e.g., Google Slides and Google Sheets).Performing other duties as assigned by the COR.Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.Required Education and Training:Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience and Skills Required:Seven or more years of combined professional experience, including five or more years performing duties like data analysis involving large data sets, performance analysis and evaluation, business analysis, process improvement analysis, business process documentation, and gap analysisDemonstrated expertise in portfolio analysis tasks: IT investment review analysis, federal data call (IDC/OMB) inputs, CPIC/IT Dashboard support, IT spend plan and procurement request analysis, IT budget/acquisition data analysis, and portfolio performance metricsMust have the ability to obtain the client's suitability and meet federal background investigation requirementsA proficiency in utilizing MS Office productsProven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA highly motivated self-starterMust be motivated and have excellent customer service skillsEOE Statement: Savvee Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
