Mental Health Associate (MHA) Per Diem

Overview Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Responsibilities As a Mental Health Associate, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Clinical/Nursing Administration. Key duties include: assisting patients with activities of daily living; encouraging appropriate behavior and intervening when necessary; preventing inappropriate behavior on the units; assembling and escorting patients for meals, programs, court, clinics, and other activities; providing a compassionate yet firm presence; documenting and organizing information; managing time efficiently; and meeting with assigned patients daily to report progress to the treatment team. This is a per diem, non‑benefits eligible position. You may cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested.
