Resident Care Coordinator- Orem

Job Details Job Location: Orem, UT 84097 Position Type: Full Time Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a dynamic, motivating leader to join our amazing team as the resident care coordinator at our Orem, UT location. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this position is responsible for direct patient care of the residents, hiring, training, development, evaluation and supervision of aide work on all shifts, scheduling, and personnel problem solving. Valid Utah CNA required. Functional Duties Serve the residents as a member of the direct care team, while leading co‑workers in gaining exceptional skills, dedication and compassion. Work with hospice providers to assure care provided by hospice programs to residents is properly documented. Attend and prepare monthly staff meetings and arrange or provide educational in‑services for staff. Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained. Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. Meet with potential residents for admission. Serve as a point of contact, advocate, and informational resource for patient, family, care team, and community. Prepare and maintain employee and volunteer files in accordance with state & Federal regulations, i.e. (TB testing, background checks, HIPAA training, etc.). Develop and ensure implementation of procedures to assure quality facility maintenance (i.e. fire safety, sprinklers, etc.). Monitor, correct and approve time‑card entries for payroll processing. Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Executive Director. Qualifications / Requirements Communication skills. Customer Service skills. Computer and clerical skills.
