Housekeeping PositionNeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.Part Time - Friday-Sunday, 7am-3:30pmHourly: $17-19/hrSummaryCleans all common areas, ensures that the homes or facilities are neat and debris free.Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.Cleans floor surfaces, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners, shampooers and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Empties trash receptacles and cleans and maintains windows, walls, woodwork, and light fixtures.Recognizes the need for housing maintenance or hazards and submits work order for repair.Follows universal precautions and strict procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices. Disinfects equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.Observes precautions required to protect customer property, and reports damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.Sorts, counts and marks clothing and other articles, loads washing machines, and irons and fold dried items and stores them in linen closets.Performs various errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners, buying groceries and household supplies. Records expenditures as necessary.Prepares rooms for meetings, and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions.Understands, complies with, and promotes all rules regarding residents' rights.
