Automation EngineerThe Automation Engineer will primarily support and troubleshoot plant automation systems, including but not limited to:Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)Servo systems and servo drivesAC and DC variable frequency drives (VFDs)Digital and analog I/O systemsProcess control signals (4–20 mA, 0–10 V, discrete I/O)Industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)Motion control systems and encodersElectronic components typically supported include:Relays and relay logicPower supplies (AC/DC)Contactors and motor startersSensors (photoelectric, proximity, pressure, temperature, flow, level)Timers, counters, and signal conditionersTerminal blocks, fuses, breakers, and protection devicesControl transformers and interface modulesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.Experience in PLC troubleshootingExperience in high-speed manufacturing, chemical processing, consumer products, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, fragrance, or similar industries preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of East Brunswick, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
