The role requires adaptability to float between units and hospitals, with a focus on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring, supporting a patient-centered approach to care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state license; at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, specifically in cardiac care; associate degree in nursing; certifications including American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Red Cross; NIH certification preferred; PALS optional for pediatric units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as PALS, if working with pediatric patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position requires a high level of professional competency in critical care nursing with experience in post-surgical cardiovascular patient management. The facility operates on a Meditech electronic medical record system. The start date is 09/07/2026. Parking is available at the location.
