Shift: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Hours/week: 36

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Licenses/Certifications: BLS, EMT, EMT-B, State License (pending acceptable)

Experience: Minimum 1 year ED experience required (first-timers accepted)

Hourly Pay Rate: $26.30

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled emergency patient care in a busy ED setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and perform vital sign assessments
• Conduct 12-lead EKGs and operate AED/defibrillators
• Assist with splinting, wound care, and crutch training
• Support patient safety and comfort during emergency interventions
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in acute care and urgent care environments
• Float to other units as needed within scope to meet operational demands

What You Need

• Valid State License as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• BLS certification (all tiers, required within 30 days)
• Minimum 1 year ED or acute care experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Medical Terminology knowledge (preferred)

• PALS, ACLS certifications
• Experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2, Children's Hospital, Urgent Care, or Level Trauma 3 setting

About the Assignment This position is based at a reputable acute care hospital with 63 beds, specializing in trauma and emergency care. The facility uses Epic charting and provides a variety of emergency services, including urgent and trauma care. The ER Tech role is critical to supporting high-quality patient outcomes and ensuring seamless emergency operations during night shifts.
