Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

RN Surgical NurseCandidates must have a strong background in Neuro surgery. Experience in craniotomies, external ventricular drains, and spinal surgeries is required. The facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center with 636 beds. There are 21 operating rooms available. Experience with the following neuro and ENT surgeries is necessary: Laminectomies, Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIFs), Fusions, and Discectomies. Cranial surgeries may include tumor resections, subdural hematoma evacuations, and external ventricular drains. Experience with neck dissections, sinus surgery, tonsillectomies, tympanoplasties, and cochlear implants is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with navigation systems such as Medtronic, Stryker, and Synaptive is required. Experience in orthopedic procedures and general surgeries is beneficial. Point of care charting is done using EPIC. Floating to the general main operating room specialty and urology center will occur, but not to other facilities. Scheduling includes variable start times for days, and weekend rotation may be applicable. There are no call rooms available. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
