Press Helper 1st And 2nd Shift

Our client, located in Louisville, KY, is seeking a press helper to support their press department in a busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with solid job tenure who are looking for a long-term opportunity and are enthusiastic about building a career in the printing industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with print design setup, operation, and cleanup in the press department
• Prep roll stock for press loading and prepare finished rolls for inventory
• Perform efficient print changeovers and troubleshoot minor printing issues
• Inspect and maintain printing equipment as needed
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift certification is a plus)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company policies
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with printing press operations
• Strong job stability and a demonstrated commitment to previous roles
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the printing industry
• Flexibility to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Forklift certification preferred

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50

Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm, 2:45pm-11:15pm

This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position with benefits available upon conversion
