Autonomous Vehicle Supply Program ManagerThe Vehicle Supply Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the end-to-end vehicle supply chain process to ensure vehicles are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and ready for customer deployment. This role leads strategic planning, supplier and partner management, and operational execution across all stages of vehicle supply, including vehicle ordering, importation, port operations, pre-delivery inspection (PDI), logistics, titling, registration, and leasing readiness. The position serves as the primary coordinator between internal stakeholders and external supply chain partners, developing scalable processes, operational frameworks, service level agreements, and performance metrics to support growing fleet volumes and customer commitments. The Vehicle Supply Program Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, mitigates supply chain risks, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops reporting tools and KPIs that provide visibility into operational performance and delivery timelines. Success in this role requires strong program management, supply chain operations, vendor management, logistics, and cross-functional leadership capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable vehicle supply solutions that support business growth and customer satisfaction.Possible tasks within this role include:Strategic Planning – 40% Define and document the end-to-end vehicle supply process, including ordering, importation, port operations, PDI, logistics, titling, and leasing readinessDevelop operational workflows, SOPs, and tracking systems to ensure visibility, compliance, and efficiency across all supply stagesIdentify resource, infrastructure, and process requirements to support scalable vehicle supply operations as fleet volumes increaseAlign supply chain processes with regulatory requirements, internal business goals, and safety standardsVendor/Partner Evaluation – 30% Identify, evaluate, and onboard key external partners, including port operators, customs brokers, PDI vendors, and logistics providersDevelop onboarding frameworks and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure partner performance aligns with operational and commercial needsServe as the primary operational liaison with supply chain vendors to maintain alignment with quality, safety, and delivery standardsProvide operational input to commercial teams during customer proposal development, ensuring delivery feasibility for large fleet dealsOperations & Implementation – 30% Manage vehicle ordering schedules across partners and internal teamsOversee importation activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. customs regulations and accurate, timely documentationLead port operations, PDI processes, and inland logistics to ensure vehicles meet quality and readiness standardsManage titling and registration workflows to ensure vehicles are fully lease-ready at customer handoffCoordinate closely with leasing/sales, and customer success teams to align supply timelines with commercial delivery commitmentsSupport documentation flows necessary for customer onboarding, ensuring alignment with contract terms and delivery locationsDevelop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to monitor supply chain performance and customer delivery SLAsIdentify risks, operational bottlenecks, or delays, and drive resolution to support timely customer deliveriesContinuously improve processes to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliabilityQualification requirements:Years of Relevant Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in a strategic role within automotive supply chain management, automotive sales operations, fleet management, vehicle logistics, or strategy/consulting supporting a vehicle importerEducation Required: Bachelor's degreeDesired: MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent graduate certificationSkills:Strategic Thinking – Strong business acumen, familiarity with corporate decision-making processes, and a structured problem-solving mindset capable of tackling highly-ambiguous strategic questionsProgram and Project Management – Demonstrated history of managing multiple complex workstreams toward the delivery of desired target stakeholders, including executing commercial contracts, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and supporting statements of work (SOWs)Familiarity with industry procurement practices (e.g., vendor RFPs / RFQs)Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget management to support supply chain and vendor-related activitiesAbility to link supply chain execution to commercial outcomes, including delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, and revenue realizationFamiliarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to vehicle supply, importation, and customer deliveryStrong communication and documentation skills to support customer onboarding, contract alignment, and cross-functional collaborationDesired: Experience managing supply chain or vehicle operations within a high-growth automotive, EV, or autonomous vehicle companyExposure to scaling vehicle delivery or readiness operations in a technology-forward, innovative mobility environmentProficiency with digital supply chain management tools, inventory systems, or customs clearance softwareExperience collaborating with sales operations or customer success teams to support commercial readinessAdvanced certification (e.g., Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Six Sigma) or graduate-level education in supply chain, logistics, or operations
