Work Environment

The telehealth setting provides our counselors with the tools to deliver virtual therapy in an efficient and secure manner. You will join a diverse group of mental health professionals dedicated to evidence-based practice and culturally competent care. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families using secure telehealth platforms, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Conduct initial assessments to understand the unique backgrounds and needs of clients, tailoring personalized treatment plans to guide them toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring timely updates and comprehensiveness of data.
• Apply evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, utilizing your specialized training in each modality.
• Engage in optional team meetings and peer consultation groups to foster professional development and share insights across the team.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards in alignment with Pennsylvania LPC regulations to maintain the integrity of our therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse caseload, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and significant life transitions. Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential to meet the educational standards necessary for the role.
• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing counseling services, with a preference for telehealth experience or a willingness to embrace training in this area.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to independently manage caseloads and individual schedules.
• A thorough understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, along with a genuine commitment to client-centered and ethical clinical practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EHR systems and a strong proficiency in using digital platforms for delivering mental health services.
• Knowledge of and experience in specific therapies beneficial in treating a diverse range of mental health issues.
• Active engagement in professional development opportunities, including continuing education units (CEUs) and training seminars.

Compensation and Benefits

Fontana Psychological Services Inc. offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
